In the modern force, active duty mental health treatment is a critical component of career longevity. At Resilience Georgia, we provide high-fidelity care for issues ranging from deployment-related PTSD and acute stress to transition-related anxiety. We coordinate closely with TRICARE East and local MTF (Military Treatment Facility) commands to ensure your treatment supports your duty status and operational requirements.
Short-Term Problem Solving
Targeted Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to address immediate stressors without disrupting your training or deployment schedule.
Trauma-Informed Recovery
Specialized evidence-based protocols (EMDR, CPT) for members processing high-impact service experiences or MST.
Integrating the 2026 DHA Standards
Effective in 2026, the Defense Health Agency has streamlined virtual health access. Resilience Georgia offers HIPAA-compliant telehealth for active duty members who may have difficulty attending in-person sessions due to duty hours. We also participate in the inTransition Program, supporting members during a PCS or separation.
Your Career and Privacy
Seeking help is a sign of strength and a key indicator of leadership potential. Under the Department of Defense (DoD) instructions, command notification is only required in specific circumstances (such as risk to mission or self). We maintain the highest standards of clinical confidentiality to protect both your health and your security clearance.
Active Duty Support FAQ
Do I need my CO's permission to start therapy?
For civilian care, you need a clinical referral from your PCM. While you are encouraged to inform your command, the medical referral is handled through your medical chain of command (the MTF).
What is the BRAVE Initiative?
The BRAVE initiative is a 2026 DHA program that expands virtual mental health resources. Resilience Georgia is proud to offer virtual sessions that comply with these new standards for active duty personnel.
Can I get help for family issues here?
Yes. We treat family-related stress that impacts your readiness. Note that Active Duty Family Members (ADFM) have different referral rules and can often self-refer—contact us to verify.
