How to Access Care in 2026
For Active Duty Service Members (ADSM), a referral from your PCM or military clinic is required for civilian outpatient care. For Active Duty Family Members (ADFM) and those on TRICARE Select, you can typically self-refer to our network providers for office-based outpatient therapy without a prior authorization.
Virtual Care & The BRAVE Initiative
We leverage the latest in secure telehealth technology to provide flexible care that fits around your duty schedule. Following the DHA BRAVE initiative, we offer high-fidelity virtual therapy that ensures you receive the same quality of care as an in-person visit, regardless of your location in Georgia.
Military Support FAQ
Will seeking therapy affect my security clearance?
In the vast majority of cases, no. Seeking help for stress, anxiety, or family issues is viewed as a sign of good judgment and resilience. The SF-86 (Question 21) was specifically updated to protect those seeking mental health support.
Does TRICARE cover couples counseling?
Yes. TRICARE covers family and couples therapy when it is medically necessary to treat a diagnosed mental health condition or to support the service member's readiness.
What if I am in crisis after hours?
If you are in immediate danger, dial 988 and press 1 to reach the Military Crisis Line, or go to the nearest emergency room. We are here to support your ongoing outpatient recovery.
